Piercy’s – Mt.Washington Funeral Home is proud to be celebrating 60 plus years of service in the Comox Valley.
In 1941, proud owners Harvey Piercy and his son Archie conducted their first funeral at the newly constructed, but still unfinished, Piercy’s Funeral Home. As finances permitted, the next 20 years brought many changes to the original building. A major renovation followed in 1994, 53 years after opening, creating the modern facility that exists today.

In 1986, Piercy’s Funeral Home established the Mission Hill Crematorium, located in the Courtenay Civic Cemetery.

Over the years the names and the faces may have changed slightly, however the same desire to provide exceptional service to the residents of the Comox Valley, which inspired Harvey and Archie to open the funeral home those many years ago, remains the same today.
